Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup

Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup

🍂 It’s the first day of fall and the perfect day to share what I’ve been working on! ⁣

My pumpkin spice simple syrup is perfect to spice and sweeten up your coffee, latte, cold brew and I’ve even drizzled it on my biscuits. Yum! ⁣

Ingredients🍂 ⁣
1 cup coconut sugar (reg. sugar works too) ⁣
1 1/2 cup water ⁣
1 cup pumpkin purée (make sure the only ingredient is pumpkin) ⁣
1 1/2 tbsp pumpkin spice (add more/less to your liking) ⁣

Directions 🍁⁣
Add sugar and water in saucepan over medium heat. Allow the sugar to dissolve completely. Add in the pumpkin purée and spices. Stir until combined. Allow syrup to come to a boil, stirring occasionally and watching the heat so it does not burn. When the syrup is thickened (coats the spoon) remove from the heat and allow to cool. Strain if there is visible pulp from the pumpkin. Transfer to a jar and keep in your refrigerator and enjoy daily! ⁣
